board meetings for 10 to outdoor parties for more than 2,500,
Pacific Design Center hosts events within the 1.2 million square-foot
campus. Pacific Design Center's Special Events Department
works with a broad range of event planners, hotels, associations,
organizations, fund-raisers and film studios to arrange and prepare
events and programs. We welcome the opportunity to work with

MEETING AND EVENT FACILITIES
Pacific
Design Plaza

This two-acre outdoor area features lush garden landscaping,
fountains, and the stunning, blue and green building as
a backdrop. Daytime festivals and parties, as well as evening
dinners, dances and concerts, are perfectly suited to this
elegant location. Elaborate staging, lighting and sound
are easily accommodated. The plaza accommodates up to 2,500
guests for parties and receptions and up to 1,500 guests
for sit-down events.
SilverScreen
Theatre
This stunning 380-seat theatre is ideal for film screenings,
lectures, readings, and receptions. Designed by Theo Kalomirakis, the
theatre pays tribute to the Silent Era of film with its subdued palette
of blacks, whites, greys and silvers, offering a 21st century interpretation
of that historic period.
Taking a quantum leap forward in its comfort and technology,
the SilverScreen Theatre boasts 380 comfortable, high-backed rocker
chairs with padded arms, and the latest in digital/analog film and
audio equipment. Main elements include two Kinoton FP-30E 35 mm film
projectors, two Kinoton RSSD Soundhead for analog and Dolby Digital
sound tracks, two Ultra Star HD Studio 60mm and MC 110mm lenses, Dolby
CP-500 Surround Processor with SR/SRD/A Processing, Dolby EX-Digital
Rear Channel processor, DTS Digital Theatre Systems DTS-6D Processor
w/ Sound Heads, SDDS Sony Dynamic Digital Sound DFP-D3000 Processor,
ten Crest Audio CA-9 amplifiers, two Crest Audio CV-12 Low Frequency
amplifiers, and 13 THX-approved JBL loudspeakers.
Conference
Center
For seminars, lectures, programs, symposiums and meetings,
the Conference Center offers an intimate, yet professional
surrounding.
The room may be arranged theatre-style with 150 seats,
a stage platform and podium, classroom style for 75 or boardroom-style
for meetings up to 40 people. The sound booth is equipped with PowerPoint,
video, DVD, slides, and wireless microphone, and professional quality
sound equipment. It is also compatible for PowerPoint presentations,
and Internet access.
An adjoining foyer may be used as the site for receptions
and is equipped with a wet bar. An adjacent boardroom may be used as
a "green room," catering preparation area or board room for
20.
Center
Blue Galleria
The expansive, 200-foot long, two-story atrium space
on the fifth and sixth floors of Center Blue boasts one
of the largest sky-lit spaces in Los Angeles, great for
fashion shows and galas. Parties and receptions for up
to 1,200 people and sit-down functions for up to 500 may
be accommodated in this versatile space surrounded by upscale
and unique furnishing showrooms.
First-Floor Center Blue Lobby
This easily accessibly lobby
area of Pacific Design Center lends a festive and active
ambience to parties and large scale events and exhibition
openings. The space is perfectly suited for festivals
and trade-show events when booths and tables require
extra wide corridor widths. Accommodates 700 sit-down or 800 reception.

Contemporary elegance with a blend of earth tones and
subtle lighting that create a moodish and romantic space
with a warm atmosphere with an outdoor terrace and spectacular
vista views.
